About me
Christy Hall is a writer based in Brighton & Hove. He works across essays, fiction, poetry, screenwriting, and copywriting — moving between the commercial and the creative, often in the same week.
Originally from Yorkshire, Christy holds an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Hull. He is a published writer and award-winning poet. Since moving south, he has written for Brighton Journal, where he served as head of PR and campaign manager, covering everything from community news to music and hospitality.

His creative work includes Phantom Limb, an original audio drama coming to Spotify in Spring 2026, Blue Horses, a novel in progress, and Rum Runner, a screenplay. His professional writing spans editorial features, brand copywriting, and marketing content.
When he's not writing, he is probably thinking about writing.
